The Jama Masjid in Sanguem Taluka is another impressive
Muslim monument. But the present structure was built as late as 1959 AD.
It is remarkable for its harmonious proportions and elegant simplicity.
Two elegant turrets surmounted by pillar kiosks flank the entrance façade.
But the dome-shaped kiosk rising at the centre of the four minarets of the
Masjid adds to the artistic beauty of this monument.
